- Thresholds at doorways set so the change occurs under the closed door rather than in the open room.
- Baseboard, shoe and scotia refitted or replaced so the expansion gap stays covered and unfixed.

What to know before work begins
Plumbing, electrical, gas and HVACWhen a project includes work that requires a licensed trade, the appropriate specialist is engaged for that part of the scope.
Other limits
- An invisible repair into an existing floor is rarely achievable and we will not promise one.
- Transitions between materials of different heights are a design decision, not just a strip.
- A repair to an aged floor is stated as a repair. Matching a floor that has aged in light and traffic is a close approach, not an invisible one, and it is described that way before it is agreed.
- Repeated failure needs a cause assessment before another flooring repair.

Who supplies each material is agreed for the project and recorded in the written estimate. We confirm purchasing responsibilities before work begins.
