The town’s FAQ says stamped drawings can be required for pre-engineered work, work affecting structural or public safety, and certain projects valued above $20,000. The online Town Code describes a local energy code based on the New York State Energy Code with NYStretch Energy Code 2020 modifications. New York’s 2025 Uniform and Energy Codes took effect on December 31, 2025. Those two sources do not establish the exact current technical standard for a new application.
