What is specific to here.
A Brockport address can be governed by the Village Building and Code Department. Properties outside the Village are handled by the Town of Sweden or Town of Clarkson, depending on the parcel. Sources: Brockport Building and Code, Sweden Building Department, and Brockport’s historic-preservation code requires a certificate of appropriateness before a significant exterior change to a landmark or property in the historic district. The examples include porch removal or enclosure, additions, changed window or door design, fences, and other exterior changes that require a building permit. The Village routes the building-permit application to the Historic Preservation Board when the work falls within that process. A permit cannot issue until the certificate is approved. Check the parcel jurisdiction first. For a Brockport historic property, settle the visible materials and opening sizes before the permit package is submitted.
How coverage actually works.
Confirmed per addressWe work across Rochester and the surrounding area, approximately up to twenty miles. That is a description of where we usually travel, not a boundary drawn on a map, so the answer for any particular property comes from the address rather than from the town name. Send us the address with your request and we will confirm it before anything is scheduled.
