The Town of Bergen and Village of Bergen have separate code-enforcement offices. Confirm the parcel before requesting a permit history or application. Sources: Town The Village also operates the Bergen Electric Efficiency Program. Its current page lists incentives for heating equipment, energy audits, windows, doors, and attic insulation. The linked window and door form lists $75 for a qualifying ENERGY STAR unit. It requires advance approval when the project total exceeds $500. Program eligibility and funding can change. A Village electric customer should obtain written approval before ordering equipment or materials. The incentive should remain separate from the contractor’s price and scope. Town properties outside the Village should not be presented as eligible. The page needs a clear Village-only qualification beside every BEEP reference.
